About the Staff Public Forum instruction will be led by Lincoln Southwest coach Toni Heimes and Indianola coach Spencer Waugh. Former Millard South coach Scott Wike and current coach Dana Christensen will lead the policy debate staff. Our LD staff will be led by Fred Robertson. We hire enough additional instructors to keep our student/staff ratio under 4/1. Try to find that elsewhere. Matt Heimes will be in charge of hosting in one of the nicest facilities in the state, and just ask former NDI staff and students about the food at this camp. * Students get individualized instruction at NDI. We have had several students come to debate camp after their 8th grade year and begin with immediate competitive success in their novice year. Last year we drew several students from out of state and we hope to do the same this year. Our camp prices remain dirt cheap. We still provide the best debate camp bargain in the country. $550 for policy debate, $450 for LD debate; $350 for public forum (all meals and copying costs included). I will once again work to provide housing for students who come in from out of state or from a distance and who do not have someone to stay with in Lincoln. Lincoln students who participate in the camp can receive discounts of $100 per student housed in LD or policy, and $75 per student housed for Public Forum. Students who request housing will be asked to pay an additional $75 to be housed in LD or policy, and an additional $50 for PF housing. We promise to provide excellent education and training in a fine facility with great food throughout the week, closing with a camp competition judged by some of the best debate minds in the Midwest. Cost A $50.00 deposit is due from student or coach participants by May 30 in order to save a spot at 2009 Summer NDI. The remainder of payment is due the first day of camp. We trust students and coaches to fulfill their payment obligations. Our price for 8 days of instruction, meals included (10 of them), is $550 for each policy student or $450 for each LD student, and $350 for Public Forum. If you seek housing, remember to add an additional $75 for LD and policy, and $50 for PF, so that we can compensate our parents who offer their houses as places to stay. Thus, students who seek housing pay $625 for policy, $525 for LD, and $400 for Public Forum. Please register as soon as possible if you seek housing so I can start the process of finding you a place to stay. Coaches, you pay just $50 per day for the LD, Policy, or PF camp (or split time between the different divisons). There are also two full tuition and meal scholarships available via application to the National Forensic League.
