NSCTA works closely with the NSAA to make Nebraska speech, play production, and debate better for everyone involved.
Through this collaboration, both organizations strive to provide students, educators, and schools with the resources, support, and recognition necessary to foster excellence in every performance.

Through targeted collaboration, both organizations realize that positive change starts with the teachers and coaches of Nebraska fine arts. With NSCTA, whether it's through rule changes or legislation, you are given a front-row seat to help make each activity stronger. After all, progress doesn't happen without you.
Since its inception, NSCTA has been dedicated to supporting its members by identifying their needs, creating new legislative proposals, and whenever possible advocating for meaningful changes to fine arts directly at the NSAA-level. Something that couldn't happen without the decisive leadership offered by the NSAA, specifically Assistant Director Taryn Retzlaff who is responsible for overseeing NSAA Speech and Play Production.
Together, the NSAA and NSCTA get members out the wings and brings them center stage, where change actually happens.
